Innovative companies are innovative because they chose to invest time and effort in acting and developing in ways that others do not. Therefore, it is important for me to approach each company individually, assessing its specific needs and identifying what will create the greatest value in each particular situation.

Successful client partnerships are built not only on technical and legal expertise, but on the ability to connect these disciplines with the client’s commercial objectives. I aim to identify the core of each development project or issue in order to advise on how the client’s profitability can be boosted through the efficient use of the IP system. For me, this involves advising clients on when to proactively secure protection through patenting and design or trademark registrations, as well as performing analyses that support a more strategic, wait-and-see approach, allowing competitors to reveal their products and business models first. Throughout this work, I maintain a sharp focus on ensuring that the client ultimately achieves a return on their investment in IP activities.
