Ship engines and their development, optimisation and maintenance have always been key interests of mine. In my previous positions at Burmeister & Wain and A.P. Møller Mærsk, many of my technical solutions and developments have been patented. In that connection, I have learned that utilising the patent system plays an important role in the creation of profit for a company, and also that the quality of the description of the technology in a patent application is vital. At Dragsted Partners, I serve as a technical sparring partner within specific areas of mechanical engineering. I am motivated by providing the best possible descriptions of technologies in patent applications, by contributing to the realisation of our clients’ concepts and ideas, and by providing alternative solutions to the specific technical problem to be patented.
